Everyone involved in the robbery who goes to trial would face murder charges for each death that occurred during the crime. Baby directly killed Jamie Foxx, indirectly killed the security guard at the post office, indirectly killed the cop at the dinner and would also be charge with the death of bad guy girl the cops killed.

Women who was the driver, was charged with murder when one of her criminal partners was shot and killed by the home owner.

He was sentenced to 25 years with a parole hearing after 5. Even then, the epilogue had the feel of a dream sequence to me.
There was also plenty of evidence that Baby was acting under duress and actively trying to minimize casualties.
Plus, every judge is different and Oklahoma is notoriously strict with it's judgments.

It had the feel of a dream sequence but when it turned from b/w to colour it made it feel like it was/became real. So idk, was that supposed to be 5 years later? It looked like 5 days later. ^^

The judge sentenced Baby to 25 years in federal prison. In the federal system, the defendant has to serve 85% of his sentence before being eligible for supervised release. According to my math, that's 21.25 years.

Baby was caught on camera during one of the previous robberies. They probably would have charged him with multiple robberies, and the deaths/injuries of civilians and police officers. He would not be charged with the deaths of his co-conspirators. I don't think the cops could put together that he killed Bats intentionally. Getaway accident.

25 years as part of a plea agreement is possible, but highly unlikely, unless he helped the cops round up all the other robbers he ever worked with.

The last quarter of the films got more and more far fetched, but it was an enjoyable film.
