Exactly what I was about to say modica.
That's nonsense.
I found it to be a cool, original breath of fresh air in a sea of super heroes and reboots.
Not that I have anything against super heroes, but it was nice to see something unique get a good theatrical run. I'm also a huge Edgar Wright fan. He's yet to make a film that I didn't thoroughly enjoy.

Love Edgar Wright movies. Glad he is getting some good box office with Baby Driver.

I love Edgar Wright. Hot Fuzz is possibly my favorite comedy. I also love Shaun, Scott Pilgrim and Spaced.

This film was original, but the ending was too unbelievable for me (starting with the final robbery).

No cop in America is going to let people holding machineguns run around downtown Atlanta without opening fire on them.
No cop in America is going to tell people holding machineguns, who have already killed people, to drop their weapons before opening fire on them.

John Hamm turning into the Terminator was ridiculous. He become indestructible.

I enjoyed the film, but then ending lost points for me.

Yeah, I liked this film quite a bit but the Cornetto Trilogy of Shaun, Hot Fuzz, and Worlds End are still much funnier in my book. This does get unbelievable but there are certain scenes where I loved that aspect of it, like when he's able to drive the car on 2 wheels.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/Qqj9zLCseHw

*SPOILERS*

I consider "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" two of the best comedies of the past 20 years. I thought "The World's End" sucked however, I did not laugh once and couldn't believe it was made by Edgar Wright. "Scott Pilgrim" to me is very overrated (the whole concept bored me after a short while) but I gotta say "Baby Driver" was very very entertaining.

The only negative for me is the ending as well but not for the reasons you have stated. Didn't mind Jon Hamm going crazy, actually I liked that they made him into the final opponent instead of Jamie Foxx or Kevin Spacey. And his girlfriend earlier said that he goes totally crazy when he's mad, so I could totally buy into that. And it is not like he survived anything too crazy, right? I mean in the diner, he was "only" shot in the arm or shoulder.

My problems with the ending: At first I thought whoa, just when you thought you are getting a happy ending it takes you by surprise and it gets a grim ending with him spending 25 years in prison. But than it was like the movie thought "nah that's too harsh", so yea, parole after 5 years it is. Like what? Go for happy ending or grim one, make up your mind. lol

You're overthinking this... it's a musical with cars...
