Its ending was nonsensical.

The film was great. I really loved the film . But its ending was nonsencsical and too far from what I expected for.

I agree I guess the slasher type ending was the easiest way to tie it all together.

I think the movie would have been better if they would have kept with the Paranormal theme to The End.

I think maybe they should of went to thr police, and of course they say the boy died and more or less they were crazy.then show him pieceing together the doll

**SPOILER**

I don't get why they didn't report the crazy killer dude living in the walls to the police when they took the guy to the hospital. The police would have naturally gone to the house and found him.

But the way it ended, it seemed as if they simply drove away and never came back and never reported the incident to anyone. That didn't really make any sense.

You don't know what they did at the end. They just drove away. Remember, they didn't have any cellphones.

If I don't reply, you're probably on my ignore list for something I forgot already

For him to have gathered up all the shattered pieces of the doll's head and then meticulously glued it all back together, that must have taken quite some time! I could be wrong, but it didn't look like he was doing that in prison...I don't recall the exact details, but I got the sense that he was still in the house at that point.

It's so annoying when survivors leave without calling the police, then we see another scene with the killer all fine and dandy.
