shareDefinitely , why not a lovely house like that , I'd sit and write all day long
I was waiting for my hearse what came next was so much worse
That's what I was thinking. Great place to write. Nature, peace and quiet.
Of course, the first sign of anything creepy and I'd be out of there in a flash unlike Greta.

Depends on how much they paid how creepy the doll is, and if there is internet.
shareI agree with the internet thing. I looked as if they had no tv or internet. That would not fly because I would be bored out of my mind. And I don't like being alone that long so if my son and fiance could be there I probably would.
I'll have plenty of time to practice my hooping, but I love to watch videos of youtube to help.
"You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling."
Given her particular situation, I thought it made sense (staying to care for the doll and all).
However, I lost some liking for her character at first because right after the parents left, she totally didn't do what she was being paid for (the list, etc.)
Not that hard to do, and after all that *was* what she ostensibly was being paid for, and apparently quite nicely.
"A distant ship, smoke on the horizon. You are only coming through in waves."
The bad thing is she said she felt like she was taking advantage of them. Seeing as she started out by NOT doing what she was paid to do, that's EXACTLY what she was doing LOL.
shareAbsolutely. I think it would be cute. Hell, I would have stayed even after I learned the truth. But then again, my dream is never to have to leave my house and grounds so it would be perfect for me. :)
shareHell no.
