US Release Date

ANy word on whether this will get distribution in the US? I try never to miss an Audrey film. I was not a big fan of her last collaboration with Gondry, but this looks like it could be worth a look.

It had a very limited release here in the UK - just one screening at the local independent - but I'm very glad I made the effort. It's superb, and don't worry, far better than Mood Indigo. Hope you get the chance to see it.

Looks like the film is getting a limited US release as of July 1, 2016.

Here is an interview with Gondry. The movie is set for a release in Chicago.

This site has a list of upcoming screenings in the U.S. However, it's not comprehensive--I saw it at a theater in Denver that isn't on this list.

The list is mainly the usual suspects when it comes to art/independent movies.

I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would, but if you're interested only because of Audrey Tatou, she's not in it very much. The story centers on the two boys and their adventure, and she wasn't with them for that.

I wouldn't have known it was Audrey T. Not a criticism.

Good movie, I enjoyed it.

Audrey Tatou? Whaaaa... I saw it today and had no idea.

I just ordered it on Netflix- don't know if is available for streaming, but it is with the mailing service.

I really disliked mood indigo and I thought be kind rewind was funny but boring.

This is Gondry's best movie by far I think. It's weird, funny, much more engaging than his other movies.

Still has the same surreal elements but feels more grounded somehow.
