I know. Bats gets Lantern to think up some information to use. But that whole replaying of a recorded conversation was kind of lame. Orm had the benefit of doubt in his favor. It reminded me of that moment in the Lion King when Simba gets Scar to confess

It's actually a much bigger problem here than in Lion King. At least in that film, Scar's subjects didn't like him anyways and were probably looking for a good reason to follow somebody else. That's not the case with Orm, or if it is then it wasn't clearly shown.
