Great little movie although the ending was a disappointing..
It abruptly ends, left lots of questions . Will there be a sequel?

shareThat earthquake was the big one that produced that killer Typhoon that wiped out towns. There were nuclear meltdowns at the Fukushima powerplant that leaked radiation in Japan. It wasn't safe to stay in her area at the time.
I wasn't suprised that she didn't end up with him. He was a France-fanatic who was only with her for superficial reasons. It's not suprising at all that he found himself a French wife after Amèlie left. He was sweet to her but she is better off.
