How did Sophie get out of the shed after Alice's brother had locked her in? We saw him lock it. The window definitely wasn't smashed until the father did it, burning himself.

Also, Lena Garber's body was put in the shed by Getterick around the time Sophie left for medical help. So Sophie was sleeping next to Lena's dead body in the shed for a few nights? It was a tiny shed, I'm sure Alice's parents would have seen the huge corpse laying next to Sophie when we saw the parents stood at the shed door talking to her in the morning?

Gettrick knew how to open the shed. It was a regular padlock and no match for his bag of tricks. As a matter of fact I believe Sophie's insistence in spleeping and being locked there was something agreed beforehand with Gettrick so he could get in touch with her and tell her what to do next.
Lena's body was placed there just before the shed went on fire. Not prior to that.

I don't think Gettrick needed to open the shed for her - they could have just loosened a few boards so she could push her way out while leaving the door locked. Then she could set the shed on fire from the outside - the loose boards wouldn't really be evident after the fire died out.

Sophie's "brother" always left the key on the padlock. So, it was quite simple really : Gettrick unlocked the shed, Sophie got out, then they both stashed Lena's body in the shed, lighted the shed on fire with the help of the prestashed petrol, then they quickly relocked the shed and bailed.
I realized how it had happened the moment we found out Sophie was still alive (actually I paused the episode to try and figure it out for some moments, lol), but of course I thought they had stashed and burned Alice's body, not Lena's - it was also simpler that way, because no DNA cover-up was required.

Very, very clever script, unfortunately ruined in the last episode when Alice's parents and Baptiste rushed towards Gettick's gun like sitting ducks, while also being completely unarmed. Apparently they planned to attack Gettrick with words.
