That Budget Figure Cannot be Legit

According to imdb the budget (per episode I'm assuming) was 2,000,000 JPY (which comes out to about $16,500 per ep), but most research will conclude that it takes at least $100,000 to produce an anime episode). Either the budget figure was off by a factor of 10, or I need to start rethinking where I invest my money...
