They never use their own title.

For a show called "Tiny House Nation", they're afraid to use those words. I'm halfway through S2 and I have yet to hear John say "John and Mary have moved into their new tiny home and joined the tiny house nation." He always says "tiny house movement".

Why?

Oh, side note: the S1 house built for the travelling nurse and record guy was already up for sale. http://tinyhouselistings.com/listing/keizer-or-12-28ft-tiny-house-as-seen-on-tiny-house-nation/
They sure didn't stay in it long.

Just found the Oregon couple who rebuilt after a fire in this article:

I just read the article on techinsider.com about the couple who were on the show and built a tiny house after their home was destroyed in a wildfire.

They said it was a rush job to keep up with the timeline of the show and that once the cameras stopped rolling and the TV show left, they had all kinds of problems - “We had water coming in under the sills, we had leaks down the chimney, we had problems with appliances that kept malfunctioning, we had plumbing issues, we had to tear apart our lovely new cement floor a couple times, and we had to cut into the walls.” Sounds like they may have made a mistake getting involved with the show.

The couple also complained about living in such a secluded area, but they had lived there before the wildfire so it shouldn't have come as a surprise to them.
