I'm sensing a LOT of "buyer's remorse" once this fad ends...

Anyone else?

Yeah definitely

Yup. I'm watching the woman from Charlotte NC who refuses to part with all her junk and is jamming it into her closet. Her friends/family are kinda like "Oh... I don't know about this..."

Personally, I love the *idea* of a tiny house but don't know if I could live in it for more than six months without feeling like I'm in a prison cell. I was wondering just how common it is for other to like the idea but not the reality.

I get the idea for some people, those that need to be mobile for work (like the couple where she was a floating NICU nurse and thus they moved frequently). But perhaps an RV would be a better idea. Also I do not get that couple's tiny budget. Doesn't nursing pay well?

However, some people on this show do not need a mobile solution and are handicapping themselves with a tiny space for no reason. Like the couple with the "high tech house". They are moving because she is taking a steady job. So there is no reason not continue living like normal human beings. Especially with all their stuff. Especially with that couple (Kyle/Jennifer) I get the feeling they have fallen for a fad.

It occurred to me that it would be really fun if there were such thing as a tiny house hotel. I Googled it, and turns out that already exists...where else, but Portland, Oregon?! They have several different styles of tiny houses you can choose from. I think it would be so much fun to stay there for a night or a few nights. I couldn't see myself living in such a place long-term. I like having space to move/dance around/exercise in my own home. I'm a bit of a homebody, so I like home to be comfortable and decently spacious, rather than just the place where I sleep. Also I'm rather materialistic and couldn't see myself adopting such a lifestyle of minimalism. To each his own, though. Considering that some people live in trailers, this is sort of a fancier version of that. I imagine it would make me claustrophobic, though.

The sky is blue

A LOT of buyer's remorse. I have seen a few houses on sale on Tiny House Listing. Here is one from March 2016 on sale now: http://tinyhouselistings.com/listing/afton-tn-12-cozy-cottage-as-seen-on-tiny-house-nation/

I'm sorry, I do not know how to make a clickable link.

yes. I thought of it throughout the whole two seasons but I did love the show.

I think it would be good for a short while for a student or someone just starting a career to cut the cost of overhead.

or definitely retirement.

I lived in a 250 sq' studio for 4 years, I could definitely live in a 500 sq foot house, especially if I had open land around me. And a picnic table, and an herb garden, and a shed for storage.

In fact, that's my retirement dream home!
