Oded Fehr looks different somehow.

I'm catching up OnDemand, because I forgot about the show after the first couple weeks. Somehow Oded looks different than normal. I don't remember his ears sticking out that much before, and it seems like they did something else to change his appearance slightly, but I can't place what. Anyone else notice anything?

I think it is his hair. Usually his hair is very dark with a little grey but in this he is very grey. Either they dyed his hair or he stopped dyeing his hair. They are probably trying to make him look older and more distinguished.

I never apologize, Lisa. I'm sorry, but that's just the way I am. Homer Simpson

When he first appeared on this show, I thought he did and did not look like Eyal from Covert Affairs. There is another actor who looks similar to Fehr.

For now, I chalk it up to 'corporate' suit and tie versus the gruff look and demeanor of an international spy.

He looks vastly different to me considering I just recently watched his episodes of Charmed. Had been wondering where I recognized him from.

I love that he's able to change so much that it's almost a surprise to see him. Lol going back & forth between rewatching Charmed & The Mummy...and now here, it cracks me up.

reply

He's OLDER, grayer, and shaved-off his personality.

reply

Lol yea. I miss his playful charm and the depth he brings to his other roles (like Covert Affairs).
I'd love to see him cast as the lead in a well written tv show (or movie). I always feel like I never get to see enough of him. Maybe he likes the smaller roles as it may allow him to be free to take on other things (he may not want to be trapped in a long contract). But I feel like the world is missing out.
I'm never disappointed when I see him, even though this particular character is quite dry and boring.

They tried to make him look older and distinguished with a very gray wig. Yes, wig, because that is totally not his natural hair (texture or color). But to me his face actually looks younger because of the hair. Or maybe they just put more makeup on him than in other shows I've seen him in.

In his first appearance, I didn't even recognize him.

I think it's the hair. Both the color and style are different from how he's looked in the past. His ears have always looked like that though.

They made him whiter. It looks ridiculous. He does not look like that on Charmed or Resident Evil.

I agree with you, trekboy. I didn't recognize Oded as Oded because he looks like any nondescript white guy. Very boring. While 'm happy for him to have work, it doesn't seem like much of a role, either.

He's also gained a little weight. It doesn't look good on him.
