Accent/Lazy Editing

In the 3/29 episode when they are at Fishers house Kristen flips into almost a full on Aussie accent and then the camera switches with a terrible cut to a different angle and she's back to sounding american. It happens so often and I dont understand why they don't put more effort into getting the right take and properly editing. That and the accent slips are distracting. I find the character interesting but I wish they would've just written her in a reason to have an Australian accent so she didn't keep slipping.

Agreed, it's a small thing but unnecessarily distracting for plenty of viewers. If they came up with some fictional, convoluted brain condition affecting how she perceives time and emotion (or whatever, I still don't get how it helps her stitch), they could have easily said it also affects her speech, and then let her use her natural Aussie accent. Or they could have said that Kirsten's mom or best friend or something was Australian, so she learned a mashed-up accent.

I noticed that. Her face was puffy with the accent, then the next cut her face is slimmer and the access is gone.
