Confused by the Halloween stitch?? (spoiler)

In the Halloween ep, Kristen stitched into Devin (the dead twin) but saw Gavins memories of taking and stashing the girl, yet Gavin was perfectly alive and well. I get that maybe it's a weird twin thing but I find it odd that the anomaly was never addressed as such. And if she was seeing into both twins' memories then why were neither of them in each others memories? I like this show but I think this episode was just poorly written like maybe they were just trying too hard to make a scary Halloween episode. BUT I am glad that Kirsten and Cameron finally got to like.. half base? ? Yay! They just need to do it already!!!

And another thing I noticed was when Kirsten was in Camerons apartment, she woke up after her nightmare and looked out the window to see that same clothing store that had taken part in that whole human trafficking scheme?? I think the store would have probably been shut down lol. Maybe just another consequence of showing the episode out of order, I didn't look into it after I found that out (I was initially confused about that too). But oh well probably just over thinking it

When I watched it, I thought what she saw was a dream within a dream, even though the other twin was really outside the door? I'm also wondering if the whole episode was a dream? In Episode 1, Season 2, when Cameron wakes up, he mentioned he had a dream in which he was a hero.

They were, partly. The scene of one talking in the stitch. Kirsten thought it was him talking to himself in a mirror, but it wasn't a mirror. sonetimes in a stitch, Kirsten is seeing scenes from the Vic's viewpoint. Whenever in the stitch it showed Gavin, Kirsten was essentially Devin in those scenes. I hope that helps to clear up the confusion.

Sorry, I didn't get to address the other question in the OP's post because the phone rang and I hit send without thinking lol. Also, please forgive typos as I'm currently under the weather and coughing makes me mess up sometimes. I'm on the app and can't edit my posts.

Anyway, about Kirsten seeing Gavin stash the girl, I think he had Devin tied up or subdued somehow in those parts, but still conscious where he could tell what was happening. He wanted him to see because he felt betrayed by Devin. That's the only thing I can figure, but I will try to watch the ep again this weekend if I get time to see for sure.
