This show is on a channel that just changed its name and is trying to find itself and an audience. They seem to be targeting the CW's audience with Shadowhunter and the show about rehab and this show. This show is probably going to have the least likely audience from their new "target," as I approached this show because of the Eureka and Warehouse 13 grads.
That being said, I'm enjoying it, I'm glad Kristin has been allowed to be less robotic, wish Cam was a bit less moronic this season, and am so glad Fisher survived. But, I'm also liking it as a procedural, and most people *claim* to want a serialized show. I say "claim" because it has been my experience that when a show becomes more serialized, it starts to lose its audience.
I hardly ever visit this board because I don't really have anything to discuss. But the ratings on such a new cable channel....I don't know what it means, but it will be interesting to see.
I never go by the board. Shadowhunters mostly have people who are saying how much they hate the show on their board but it's the networks 3rd highest rated show and got renewed. I think it depends on how it rates against other shows on the network. Right now the only thing I'm afraid for is Recovery Road, it has the lowest ratings so it's not looking good for it.
