I so wanted to like this and get a new good sci fi

How did this become anything more than a pilot? How did it get a second season?

Main character is very annoying and the dialogue is so unnatural. Only good scenes were some actual fluent words from Allison.

I sat there thinking "well, main character is meant to be like a robot and uncharming, let's see what happens when the sci fi stuff starts! Perhaps it will be great!"

They throw her in a tank, explain it's LIFE AND DEATH and very VERY important that she can "bounce" (log out) herself.

Okay, so a very serious, very expensive, very secret, very high tech project... and the woman in charge, Maggie, allows Linus to make Kirsten af pin code called iheartLinus.. WTF? Yeah, it's funny, ha ha, but if it's life and death and very important, wouldn't Maggie MAKE him create a code like 123 or something easy and fast? iheartLinus, really? I half expected a clown to walk into the lab, drop his hat, then try to pick it up but kick it with his very large shoes, while the drum roll kicked in.

Maggie: "Mission report!"

Cameron: "Well, we lost Kirsten and have to look for another candidate... unfortunately she had 2 seconds to get out but her long idiot password took 3 seconds."

Maggie: "Oh well, it was funny when Linus created it, go find another person who can do this important stuff for us."

Guess my question for you guys is: Does it improve drastically? I remember Dollhouse being kind of a weak starter but it got better and better.
