This is a perfect example...

This is a perfect example of why it is monumentally stupid to end every single frigging season on a cliffhanger!

Now the fate of the show is up in the air and it will most likely get canceled, leaving the story unfinished. If it somehow gets renewed for a third season, the chances of getting a fourth season will probably be even slimmer, but 100% guaranteed, season three will end on a cliffhanger as well.

Why? Because the network doesn't care about its shows or its fans.

I imagine the discussion behind the scenes goes something like this;

"Let's have a big cliffhanger in the finale, it'll be cool!"

"What if the show gets canceled? All the fans will be left hanging."

*beep* 'em!"

Haha agreed. It's one thing for a popular or veteran series to end a season on a cliffhanger, but for a show like Stitchers that's hanging on by a thread, it's absurd.

Unfortunately that's the new reality of TV. Every single dramatic series ends every single season on a cliffhanger or some twist. The only exception is if the people behind the show know far in advance that the next season will be the last.
