...Annie. She's always in the background, is the only one to not have her own storyline and seems too sweet and innocent.

I think it will be James mum she found out about him running off and needed him and didn't want him to be alone and she killed the other girl Janine for mugging her off by being a bad vet.
Either that or killer is the girl as you say or Rob, Tina, James or his gay little boy friend from snooker hall lol.
"gay little boy friend"? It's never been suggested the ginger kid is gay, or that he was in a relationship with Cal. Just that they were both victims of child abuse. Not sure whether an "lol" tag is appropriate.
shareCal's phone number in the toilets suggested he was working as a rent boy in order to buy his plane ticket, and there was an implication that the other kid was working in the same trade.
shareYes it's obvious they were working as rent boys, that doesn't mean he was gay. Clearly Cal was considering he was in a relationship with James, but the other kid's sexual orientation is never revealed, and there is definitely nothing to suggest he was anything more than friends with Cal.
shareIt seems quite obvious to me too that it's Annie and I'm hoping it's not as that will just be a really anti climax.
