How could this happen...

...with a humanitarian mission? President Bill Clinton asked this publically knowing all along that he changed the combat mission in Somalia to what would eventually cause of the reescalation of fighting and ultimately more problems that exposed our weakness to people like Bin Laden. Colin Powell pretty much said so.


The first thing that went through my mind is that he knew damned well what he was doing. Just like what's happening right NOW! 😭

I was in the Navy during the entire time he/she were in office. I was even part of the ARG that landed at Mogadishu. We were an entirely different mission. If one makes decisions without forethought to see what the results of the decision might be. Especially something as critical as the safety of the country.

They HE/SHE changed so much of the culture of the Navy when they were there changing it into a social engineering platform instead of why the Navy exists in the first place.

We certainly DO NOT need 4 more years (12 in a row) of that ineptitude.
