I'm not saying Csokas is a bad actor. I think he's a very good one. But his Cajun accent is horrible. Takes me right out of the scene. I blame that on the people responsible for the series. Producers, director, etc. How much would it have cost to hire someone to teach him a reasonable, not perfect but just reasonable, Cajun accent? I know a couple hundred who would have jumped at the chance. If you're going to make a series with a Cajun in it teach them the damn accent.

How do we know it's supposed to be a Cajun accent? It seems like it's supposed to be stereotypical heavy southern accent, not necessarily Cajun.

His accent is very unique and tbh something I'm really enjoying. I know it sounds nasally like he has a deep cold or something blocking his nose but it does sound alluring. It does have a southern vibe to it. The entire show has some kind of Far Cry 5 feel to it as well (apart from the crazy kung fu crap)
