Complete disregard for any laws of physics

Every time I try to get into the plot, a fight scene breaks out. What ensue's is hopping, floating, and prancing maneuvers of likes that make me wish there was none in the first place. Being able to double jump off an old torn canopy and float up 3 stories high should not be a thing. If they kept the fighting basic, even boring and simple: this movie would be much better I think.

then i assume you hated KILL BILL, CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON, etc, etc.
this show clearly isn't for you.

reply

The disregard for physics as you call it is a major part of the allure of the show. The Hong Kong action style done for an American audience is a major point.

reply

Those who are in their 20s grew up watching cartoons similair to this and now as they step into adulthood and become a paying audience they get to decided what is good or bad.

reply

Uh buddy, that same style is used for many kung-fu movies. It's also used for Crouching tiger, hidden dragon, etc. You clearly are not a fan of of Hong Kong style kung-fu genre, so you have no business watching this show. They literally hired the same fight coordinating team that does many of those Asian kung-fu movies. That flying and jumping style is used in many beloved Asian movies. That's the point of this series. It's basically one big homage to those movies.

I'm telling you it's Keyser Soze!

this is more like sci-fu if anything, no real martial arts are involved in these abysmal fighting scenes, but yeah there are people who enjoy fast food and call it delicates,
personally watching this in the background while working, yes i'm that bored, no sane person should watch this and get in to the dep of it all, if it even has any, i would compare this to retardation to Mortal Combat Conquest, that i watched 20 years ago, same looking set, same ridiculous fights, same retarded characters, heck even plot is similar, more or less

reply

The plot is similar to Mortal Kombat? LOL...okay. You're a freakin' moron

"laws of physics" don't aply in a tv show that contains people who turn into unstoppable killing demons when they are cut.

Those people are trained in mystic martial arts that allow 50~ kg woman to kill multiple ruthless assassins in 1-2 minutes.

I enjoy this kind of thing for the same reason that people loved watching telekinetic monks duel evil demon lords using laser swords in Star Wars. Or when people forget how can the bride from kill bill kill like 70 enemies alone with just a sword.

If you don't like it, I suggest you skip this and watch some faked real fights like wrestling or ufc.

reply

Do you make the same complaint about The Walking Dead, considering that the physiology of the zombies and the availability of should-be-expired gasoline also defies the laws of physics?

reply

You mean that stuff isn't real?

:)

You do know this is just tv right and not the science channel.

I have EXORCISED the demon
