Suitable for kids? [spoilers]

I'm planning to see this, but I'm unsure about bringing my kids.

I'm seeing 12A as the UK rating, and no US rating. I haven't seen much detail in the reviews, but one mentioned the girl being "sold" -- not clear to me whether this is as a child bride or as a prostitute. Either could be too much for an 8-year old. My kids are used to PG and have seen some PG13 films with hands over eyes when the heads start rolling, but a creepy, sexually-explicit plotline would be tough to edit in the theater.

Can someone tell me how scary and sexually explicit this storyline is? Thanks!

reply

Its not sexually explicit, the plotline is quite short. The film is quite suitable for kids.
A travel agent tells the protagonist that he can drop the kid lost in India back to Pakistan. The protagonist leaves her with him but moments later follows them when they leave as he misses her, he discovers that the travel agent had brought her to a brothel, the hero immediately saves her.

Did IQ's just drop sharply while I was away?

You can watch it with the whole family. It's suitable for all ages.
