Meh...unsatisfying outcome and somewhat predictable

I must say, the cinematography and the way this film was shot was impressive. The plot initially really had my attention. At first, I had high expectations.

But I think some of the performances didn't really live up to the overall tone of the story. Especially the actor who played the big brother. And the actor who played Ben wasn't exactly all that convincing either. Though, I gotta give some credit to the actor who played Jack. He was alright.

Shane's character was extremely hate-able. He definitely was a convincing bully. I can't believe Danny Flaherty played him by the way. We're talking about the dude from the US version of the failed series Skins. Though, overall, his performance was also pretty decent, despite how terrible his character was.

The ending really let me down though. I really wanted to see Jack beat the living daylights out of Shane. Due to the fact that never happened, was a real let down. I found the ending totally unsatisfying. And for the most part, I thought many aspects to the story were predictable, and not entirely convincing.

Was it terrible? No, not really. Was it great? No. It was just...meh. Ehh, whatever.
