I really loved it.
Although, I was a little annoyed the bully didn't get his comeuppance!

Yeah I wanted to see more of a connection with Tom so he could go pound that a-hole. otherwise a really great movie and the ending was something very creatively done. it could have gone so many ways, it really made me think.

8/10 and Charlie Plummer wow it almost felt like a documentary he played the part so good, and a big thumbs up to rest of the cast as well.

Same here. I got a recommendation on Netflix for this a while ago but I just didn't know what it was and kept skipping it but I'm so glad I watched it now. I was really impressed with the kid who played the lead though the kid playing Ben was good too. I liked that it seemed realistic and you become really engrossed with this kid's life and want him to come out on top even though he's obviously flawed. It was frustrating at times like when the bully kept beating him up but no one tried to stop him. I guess this happens in real life more than we would like to think so scenes like that gave it more authenticity. I have one gripe about the film though and it's that they don't really go into Ben's situation with his mom at all and he doesn't have much backstory but I guess it is Jack's story so I can also see why the writers thought it wasn't necessary. Really enjoyed this one.

I loved it as well. My only problem with it was that it just ended like the filmmakers ran out of film. I know that there probably wasn't any better way to end it, but I guess I wanted a nice scene between Jack and his older brother before it ended. They went for a life goes on type of ending, but I wasn't expecting it to end when it did. Still a good movie though.
