When was he ever the perfect guy?

He told her next to nothing about himself, he took her to a club in a dangerous neighborhood (every girl's dream date no doubt!) then had sex with her in said club (very classy), then called her a hussy and a slut at her parents' house. At what point did he show himself to be "the guy she should marry and have a family with"? Because this was all BEFORE he started showing his crazy side.

To be fair calling her "hussy and a slut at her parents' house" was only a joke.

* He honored her parents wish by not having sex in their house.

* He rescued her from that jerk at the bar/restaurant.

* He was kind and courteous to her from the start (coffee shop).

* He was charming and cool with her friends.

* He brought her mom flowers.

* They didn't have sex the first day.

* He complimented her, shared her wishes for children.

IMO, all of the things you listed above were all Phony things done by him to win her over.

It worked for awhile obvioulsy.

As been said, you can only Front (put up a fake display) for only so long.

I understand the hussy/slut thing was meant as a joke but would YOU say that to a girl even as a joke? Do you think she would take kindly to it? Kinda mean spirited isn't it?

I just don't see how having sex with a girl in a club screams "this is the guy I'm gonna settle down and have children with". Isn't that basically treating her like a hussy/slut?

reply

The club was in a dangerous neighborhood? I missed that, but she obviously wanted to have sex there. He was perfect and charming everyone in her life (except for the neighbor) until he went totally nuts.
