should've switch guys

It's weird that Michael Early is the bad guy. I can't take him seriously at all. The blue eyes, all his past roles like in Common Law and Think Like A Man. Should've made him the good guy and Morris Chestnut the bad guy

reply

The blue eyes?? WTF does that mean?? Watch "For Colored Girls". The film is awful but Ealy's performance is very good.

reply

''blue eyes'' equals white feature, and white people are always the good guys ξ€›

He did a decent job as a serial killer on Fox's The Following this year. Kind of too believable as a quiet sociopath, plays crazy really well.

reply

He was excellent on "The Following". As soon as he showed up, the show was non-stop action, and suspense. Too bad it got cancelled. I am looking forward to seeing this movie. It looks awesome.

reply

What bad guy roles have you seen Morris in? Or is it just his dark features that make him more villainous?

Internalized racism. Cure yourself.

reply

Right. Morris is the quintessential "nice guy" actor, lol

reply

I'd like to see Morris go there. Denzel was Mr. NiceGuy & he went rogue/Training Day, worked for me!😍

Morris portrays the antagonist in "Half Past Dead" with Steven Seagal, Nia Peeples, and Ja Rule. Terrible movie, but Morris does a decent job.

"Not even if Jesus was pouring it!"

reply

The light skinned blue eyed guy being the villain makes people uncomfortable. They're supposed to be the nice guy. Let the darky be the bad guy! lol

reply

Let the darky be the bad guy! lol

Lmao!

reply

I agree. Who would dump Michael Ealy for Morris Chestnut?

Actors are mere products of a good writer's imagination

reply

Morris was a bit menacing in V,imo so much sexier/talented than Michael.

I was thinking just the opposite. Who would dump Morris Chestnut for Michael Ealy. Different strokes...

reply

Ealy has always has a cold, villainous, douchebag look about him. He can play a protagonist no problem, but I remember first seeing him in Barber Shop, and he had that bad-boy "up to no good" look even back then. Heartthrob handsomeness doesn't negate that.

reply

I think he played the role well and because he looked unsuspecting it made it all the more powerful. I never saw him in any other movies.

reply

Uh, you clearly have not seen enough movies, lol. Michael Ealy was a complete lunatic in "Their Eyes Were Watching God" and "For Colored Girls."

reply

I don't know. I think it was good have him as the bad guy. He really did well in his role. Not knocking Morris at all but he wouldn't have had enough screen time if they switched them also.
