As someone of a certain age, I find it curious how many women of today find something like that segment of the show with her on the rotating pedestal "empowering".

I really don't see what the big deal was about it. It was done in jest and comedy. she's a comedic actor.

People need to lighten up.

It wasn't done to be empowered. It was done to be funny.

True and she's made a career of perpetuating the stereotype. I was all lightened up about it ten seconds after it happened, but I guess I'm just tired of that kind of humor, I got the irony of the message...it just bored me, that's all.
