Gay couples?

Why aren't there any LGBT couples represented? :(

Good question

Probably because Lifetime isn't interested in it. Lifetime viewers would complain.

reply

Shows on Lifetime have had gay characters in the past so I don't think their viewers would be too upset about it.

Seriously? LOL.
"The Truth About Jane"
"A Girl Like Me"
"Prayers For Bobby"
Just to name a few. And these are just airings on Lifetime. Not to mention the 100's of channels out there.
I just don't see the point for EVERY show to make sure they throw in some gays if only for political correctness. There are many shows that don't need to spotlight homosexuals because it's not relevant to the story.
Just like some shows, "The Cosby Show". "Family Matters"- I watched every episode.
The majority of actors were black. That was in the 90's and I never heard people protest and boycott the show because there were very little whites.

Where is it written that there was supposed to be?

Where is it written that only heterosexual couples should be represented?

Not every show in the world needs to have gay couples. I'm sure they will have some gays folks on the show at some point in time.
There are plenty of shows with gay characters.
Believe me, if this show never has a gay couple on, it won't put a dent in the homosexuals in so many TV shows, movies and comnercials.
There will be no reason to complain to the network or cause a stink.
Keep watching if you want to. Just because there have been no gays doesn't mean they never will. Or it could be that no gay couple is interested in being in this type of show at this time. Though, I highly doubt that.
They did have a few interracial couples on so far.
I mainly focus on the story of how crazy some people can be. Color and looks don't matter to me.
