I'm in the middle of watching this series. Sure are a lot of dumb characters that manage not to get themselves killed.

1. When going into a building full of black eyed, screeching, bloodsucking harpies always, separate, make lots of noise and get into fights with each other.
2. Allow anyone in the group to leave your secure hiding places front door opened while they do whatever outside.
3. Never upgrade your pistol to a better weapon no matter how often you come by them.
They don't need to upgrade, they already have a magic pistol. They used it all series, it never needed reloading, never ran out of bullets, and whoever had it in their hand won every single fight they encountered. What is an upgrade over that?
Did enjoy the show though, thought the black eyed chicks made for an interesting, bit different creature. Their chicken walk was actually a bit creepy.
Politics is deliberately making things better for some by deliberately making them worse for others.
