This movie is *beep*

It opens with John laying shot and bleeding on the floor in the lobby of the Dakota when they found him. Really? At least get the facts straight in the beginning if you want people to think your movie is credible. What a joke!

And what are the "facts?" He wasn't shot a the Dakota?

reply

I didn't see the movie so I don't know what they depicted, but if they showed the shooting in a lobby, as in inside a building with a reception desk or something, it's wrong. The Dakota has an outside entrance tunnel-type thing that opens to a courtyard. That's where Lennon was shot.

And the OP said that's where "they found him." Nobody found him--there were people around when he was shot.

I always thought there was a crowd of fans around when this happened . There was when he left that evening but not when he returned . Look up 'Death of John Lennon " on Wiki . Not sure how to post a link on IMDB .
" The second team, officer Herb Frauenberger and his partner, Tony Palma, arrived a few minutes later. They found Lennon lying face down on the floor of the reception area with Hastings attending to him, blood pouring from his mouth, and his clothing already soaked with blood."

Yeah, there wasn't a crowd of fans. But to clarify--the way I read the OP's "they found him" was that Lennon was lying there after being shot and someone happened across him. It wasn't a crowd of fans, but there were people right there when it happened.
