I have been watching this show for awhile and Tanya Acker's attitude and demeanor is disgusting. If she is trying to be like Judge Judy then she fails miserably! I have also noticed that Patricia Dimango and Larry Backman have some distain for her. It doesn't look like they like her very much and her bullying tactics during discussion is ridiculous. I find her to be very disrespectful to her colleagues, the plaintiffs, and defendants. She makes this show very difficult to watch.

Patricia Dimango is the only real judge sitting on that bench. You'd think the insufferable Tanya Acker would have a bit more respect. She really should be replaced. The bitch attitude isnt working for her.

I find them all insufferable and disrespectful. They are ALL bullies. I don't find Judge Acker to be any worse than the other two. They all take their jobs lightly and make fun of the litigants right in their faces, cross talk each other and act like they're presiding over a party. I don't see any one of them as being better than the others.

It's a stupid premise and they should just put them all out of their misery.

I think the producers push them on to be dramatic like they are. So they may not be that type of judge in real life, but on camera, they have to follow what the producers want.

The show's executive producer is Judge Judy; rudeness is to be expected.

FWIW, I've only watched this show for a few weeks, but I have the same reaction.

I actually like DiMango best because compared to the other two, she doesn't go out of her way to display obnoxious, exaggerated Judge Judyisms: bullying, expressing (fake) disgust and moral outrage, etc.

Acker reminds me of those little girls who always want to play "school" so they can be the Strict Schoolteacher and order all the other kids around. Or one of those little dogs that thinks it's a lion, and yaps furiously at the slightest provocation.

The worst of it is that Acker picks such bogus opportunities to stage her little self-righteous freakouts. So she'll get something wrong, or find some pretext to act offended, then stomp on the litigant for trying to "talk over her".

Also, she seems to make a point of being hard on litigants who don't deserve it, then bends over backwards to find reasons to sympathize with shady and/or seriously warped litigants.

She's really irritating.

Judge DiMango thinks she's a comedian always with the jokes; but Judge Acker is the one out of line????

I wonder why this is? What could be the reason for people feeling this way? I can't quite put my finger on it.

They ALL are; just finished watching 2 episodes. All three of the judges were rude at some point. It's entertainment.

I agree about Judge Tanya. Sometimes she's so dramatic she's flying out of the seat.
