What an underrated gem! And that ending...

I believe it's a pure good ending, those glass orbs are just windows into the world reminding us that Krampus is always watching, always waiting. I don't think they are in hell. I don't care what anyone else says!

I disagree. The way they all look after Max opens the present tells me they are in Hell.
