remake of fresh?

this sounds like a remake of the 1994 movie fresh which, unless im crazy, forest whitaker had an uncredited role in.
anybody know if there's anything to that?

Didn't see Fresh, but definitely has tones of Risky Business -- but MUCH better.

Lmao what? This movie is NOTHING like Fresh. Polar opposites. Only similarity is that they both take place in the hood

when i read the synopsis i sorta thought it would be similar.

its not at all.
this is a comedy, this is really nothing like fresh at all.
