It's great but wish it was a TV series.

I love this movie. Great work and kudos to Niraj Pande team for the effort they putted for this movie.

But i felt there are so many characters inside the movie which needs a more screen space and for that purpose it has to be a TV series. AK is a main protagonist but its not just a story about AK character but all ATS team and how they execute the entire mission.

Just imagine guys different missions over different episodes which will lead to a big mission mission in season finale. How cool will be that?

Thats a brave call considering that women in India have occupied the TV serials for more than 15 years now! There is absolutely no way they will want to go down in business however good the series are for MEN! They tried it in the past but have failed miserably. Many have tried it in the past but the thing is who is gonna watch it? women who are glued to KUMKUM BHAGYA? Secondly there are no GOOD SCRIPTWRITERS in INDIA
It will take years to change the mindset in India! All they care is about catfights in Indian serials
Lord help these women!

On the film, they have only focused on Pakistan, Nepal, Turkey and India. If it were a TV series, they could have focused on many countries, such as, Bangladesh, Iraq, Iran, Sri Lanka, Myanmar among others. It would've been great then.

Totally agreed with both of you...but as far as I remember Indian viewers accepted Anil Kapoor's 24 very well. It was suppose to be a fast pace action drama but got dull in the middle way. I know there are so many people in this country who don't value the real content. They just need known faces than the real movies but i really wonder how many were they? because I never met single person like that. In college and in friends we always talk about Braking bad, Nip tuck and Dexter than any khan's of bollywood.

On the other hand Yuddha had Amitabh bacchan and Anurag Kashyap as a direcor but it was a total *beep* I mean there was not even a single character in the story to connect to. So when I saw the Baby movie I felt It had lots of good actors but very less screen space to give proper justice to their characters.

It would be really interesting. But any such espionage TV series wont happen anytime soon considering the mindset of Indian TV audience.

The most interesting characters of the film get so less screen time be it Tapsee Pannu's character or Anupam Kher's. The bad people were simply one-dimensional lacking any sort of depth. Kay Kay Menon was good but again nothing much scripted about his character.

The surgical ops where after the operation the target gives info about next target's hiding location gave a repetitive feel to film. It suited more for a TV series.
So yes, a TV series would have been a better way to present this kind of story.
