What a bunch of HOMOPHOBES!!!!

That was an AWESOME show! True to life,, not like queer as *beep* was... horrible show... This one calls it like it is and I agreed with 1000% of it.. I can't WAIT to see what happens next... Love the sex scenes too, just enough but not too much.

Yeah. QaF (American) was awful. This series is a lot of fun and never has a dull moment. The sex scenes. I really don't remember them, so I guess they weren't as extreme as those in Looking.

If you consider that true to life you must have surrounded yourself with some of the most toxic people around. None of the characters have any redeeming qualities.

After the third episode, I am really enjoying the series, including Banana. Some of the writing is a bit meh, but every episode seems to draw me back in with the great mix of drama and comedy. The characters do seems to lack redeeming qualities, but as they flesh out more they all seem to go from a mix of horrible to kind just like most TV characters.

It's not homophobic to think the show is *beep* I mean, I like it. But there are valid reasons not to, and it's a bit dumb to dismiss any criticism as "homophobic."

You are spot on. Yea, some of the situations are over the top...it is after all a TV show...but as a man around the same age as Henry, I can relate to what he's going through...it's tough sometimes to deal with a culture that is obsessed with youth and muscle. I love QAF (UK), but hated QAF (US)...I never understood why people raved about it; that show used to seriously depress me thinking that that was what I had in store for my life. Cucumber is far more realistic...as a TV show can get. Banana is a nice companion series as well.
