This show is Great. Why so much hate for it?

I'm not sure why there seems to be so much negativity for this show but I think its great. Its funny well written and challenges notions of gay life. Its a little heavy on the interracial angle (do black men not date each other in Manchester?) But its nice to see a show that at least shows the lives and experiences of gays of color.

Its nice to see that and I think we need more of it. So much of the gay population centers itself around white men and their stories and struggles.

I just finished watching it.
I can tell you I didn't expect it to turn out to be like this.

I can completely understand why people felt frustrated with Henry. I don't live in the UK so I don't know if the show was already completed or they managed to adjust it as they went on because it got better until episode 3 and it was all worth it to get to the episode 6. Man! That was powerful!
Episode 7 was good and I would have made it a bit longer because episode 8 didn't ad that much in my opinion.

Like I said, I'm with you if you are annoyed by Henry's ways, Lance being a pushover and Freddie's bitchiness but they actually grow a bit. Just have some patience.

I had a hard time getting past the ridiculous drawn-out Ryan Reynolds story. So weirdly written and directed.
