Ending Explanation ?

Can someone explain to me what was the meaning of the ending ?
So Henry was not having sex with men because he had not come to terms with his sexuality ?

reply

But Henry was having sex with men.

As far as I know Henry had come to terms with his sexuality.

I think it's open to interpretation, but I took it as an absurd punchline given the events in the series. He behaved like a bit of a selfish man-child, and was seemingly troubled by/preoccupied with coming to terms with "being gay".... despite having spent his whole adult life functioning as a gay man.

There *is* no big moral issue to wrangle with; he had a 9 year relationship with another man, had a wide social circle/support network consisting of other gays/lesbians, living in a gay-friendly city, with his own house and a successful career. What would travelling alone, sitting on a beach, or whatever he wanted to do to "think" about things, give him that he didn't already have? I took it as a comment about the character, he's apparently obsessed and tortured by "coming to terms with being gay" when really there's nothing to come to terms with. He's created this mental torture for himself to obsess over when he really just needs to forget it and appreciate the life he already had.
