How Good Is Season 3

I binge this series. I’m not going to wait a week for the next installment of a half-hour show; so I’m waiting fir the season to complete before I watch. Season 2 was a big letdown from the first season. Does the third season bounce back?

"Does the third season bounce back?"

No. Six episodes in and it's just analytics, VR nonsense, and zero, ok, blurred out nudity. Very pretentious nonsense this season and it has now fallen into background noise for me. The Riley Keough episodes and the Anna Farris episodes were the best for me.

Thank you. I like the same eps you do. So nice to meet another person of taste.

The first season with R. Keough was very, very good. The next season with Anna Friel and Carmen Ejogo was very very good. And, really two seasons in one. But, alas the third season is just okay. It is not horrid. I will give the next season, if there is one, a look. Especially, if Soderbergh gets involved.

I've watched five episodes of season 3. I've yet to see a single nude scene. Barely any sex. But LOTS of talking. Why in the hell did the producers make a show ostensibly about a hooker, yet make it completely devoid of sex and nudity? The alzheimers dad and office day job scenes are not the least bit interesting.

I was hoping Julia Goldani Telles would be good, but I can't say I'm impressed. I noticed her on "The Affair" before this. She was young and played an annoying character, but I thought seemed like a good actress, and was clearly gorgeous. I was looking forward to seeing her grown up in a grown up/adult role. But this show is so sanitized and dull. I'm voyeuristic. I like eye candy. This show has nada. What a letdown.

She looks way better as a brunette, in my opinion.

Season 1 tops them all and they could have sticked with the one. Riley Keough really stole the show.

So I’m glad I asked this question. Seems to have helped some people save priceless time. Good that we have Season 1.

I loved Seasons 1 and 2, but the 3rd one smells like a turd. Looks like Amy Seimetz was the real writing talent behind the show and she is sadly absent in the turd season.

Thanks for your reply. It’s amazing how the departure of just 1 key player can destroy a show. Seinfeld went right down the tubes when Larry David left, then came back to form in its final season, when David returned.
