Season 2

Any news whether it has been greenlit? It would be a shame if it's one season only - the best television I've seen in ages.

Same, I'd like to see at least another season.

Per Riley Keough:

"I got lucky with The Girlfriend Experience in the sense that it was one season and was meant to be that way. When I signed on, they told me that every season is going to be a different girl. I was like, "Sweet, if I hate it, then I'm out." I get done playing people, and I feel that way with Christine. I wouldn't want to do a second season."

I hope that is true. I would like there to be a second season, but strongly feel that the story to first season was complete, and trying to expand on it could ruin it.

I am fan of Fargo; each season is a different story with different people, only tying into the previous season by linking events.

Really hope that's the case. Would be a shame it it's one season of really good TV only.

Yeah but True Detective shows that a good first season with one set of characters has no correlation to a second season...

Or any Ryan Murphy productions. He can have one amazing season then two terrible in a row then a fourth incredible one.

I haven't finished American Crime Story yet, but I can say that's definitely the case with American Horror Story. I think only season 2 is actually good. And although I haven't seen the second season of True Detective, I heard is not nearly as good as the first.

But hopefully The Girlfriend Experience will be renewed and follow the steps of Fargo and American Crime.

The show got a lot of critical acclaim. I feel like if Starz doesn't renew it, Amazon or Netflix wil. It's just too good.
