Monotone

seriously the main character and her friend are just monotone and a bit wooden.

i think the word ur looking for is monotonous but agreed

i was fine with it when the friend disappeared, she was neither cute nor interesting

Riley's char wasn't that interesting as a person either but the story of how her lifestyle and choices would turn out were

i kept wondering if she was going to end up dead near the end or at the end of the series but that was because i didn't know if this was meant to be a 1 season series but then again, the fact it was released all at once should have made me realize that she wouldn't die and if it was meant to be 1 season than they would have just let it play out and not have bothered releasing all of it

You said it! These are such unbelievable female characters. Like robots. Men just WANT women to be like that, but they are seriously not.

"Men just WANT women to be like that"

what? no. what?! no!

She reminds me of Kristin Stewart

reply

Yep. No one in real life really talks like Christine. I know Christine said she doesn't have any friends and you can see why. She acts like she's on Prozac--just so emotionally lifeless. I remember when she walked into her apartment and barely mustered a "hi" to her friend.

she was one of the names i thought of as well that she reminds me of

I just watched the movie "Carol" with Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. Mara never changed expression in two hours. During the commentary the director said she had a "stillness" about her. She said she had been that way all her life. That as a kid her siblings would be ripping Christmas presents open while she opened hers.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

i've heard of her & looks like i saw 3 of her movies but nothing where i recall her char

but i don't really watch movies anymore for the past 5 yrs now, very few & mostly shows

but i am guessing it's Kate's sis & she's a quiet one as well, yet kinda not at the same time
