The Vercler Castle in Spokane. The pictures on the website are all from winter so it doesn't look as verdantly green, but it makes it easier to see the structures.

I thought it was an old film set.
I think the interiors were done on a studio set possibly but this was where the exterior scenes were shot.

FYI - I noticed that there was at least one comment from a visitor on the Vercler Castle website that announced that it had been used in Z Nation. I really appreciate folks who share useful info - there's so much to see online that it's always nice to find folks are sharing useful and interesting info.
