Seriously got bad

Ok I was a fan of the first season, second season not so much but still entertaining. I just finished the third and ended up hate-watching most of it. Anyone else notice it getting progressively worse? At this point I pretty much hate every character.

I don't hate every character (yet), but the story seems to have taken a nosedive. Hopefully Season 4 will be better.

This third season from about half way through has just become awful.lazy writing

In Germany here it's the second season now (iTunes) and as much as I liked the first one I hate watching the second one.
Not only about the story or whatever is annoying me - but first of all because of the VERY BAD GRADING!!
What were they thinking?
It is awfull to watch with these badly designed digital colours...just too much!
The colors of the scenes are so unnaturally and over-geaded that its a shame for the eyes looking at that.
Am I the only one beeing annoyed by that poor grading?

I won't watch this stuff anymore - 2. season, 3. episode - that's enough for me! ;)

And as I read your review here, it's ok to spare my time and watch different stuff.

Just started first season, pretty average overall and acting. Also story.

I completely agree with you. I don't think hate watching shows is worth my time, so I just stopped after episode 4. SyFy does this to a lot of shows I like, the management decides to get involved to make it "better" and end up screwing everything up. It's why they've been a third rate network ever since they've launched - they have never learned their lesson. Perhaps they will once streaming sites overtake cable networks and they can no longer make money pumping out garbage.

Totally agree 100%

The reason i like Z Nation is that originally it was fun and silly.

It's no Walking Dead and it wasn't trying to be one BUT this last season and story arc just took itself far to seriously.

It's like at the end of season 2 someones said "Hey we have a hit series here, lets get all serious and build on it" and its just gone tits up :(

Next season bring back the fun and have the group find an out of town shopping mall and they secure it and do a Dawn Of The Dead kinda thing, start bringing in outsiders and building a community
etc etc

It's far from bad--still one of the better shows on tv. Season 3 was just different, darker in tone at times. I also think they did themselves a disservice by breaking up the cast, who work exceptionally well together. I hated what they did to Hector too; he'd been a blast to watch throughout season 2 but when they reformed him, they excised most of his personality too. Even with the changes, though, they still managed to knock it out of the park almost every week.

Agreed. I was on the fence after S2, but I'm midway through S3, and it's become unwatchable.
