Very good movie - great filming, great acting, great story line...
Although I believe it to be fictional, the movie was very believable.
What did the few sentences on screen at the very end of the movie say?
its not fictional.
in 1946, 2000 german soldiers were ordered to go to denmark to clean up the mines.
All kids. age 15 -> 20
300 of them died, 500 of them lost limbs.
I don't know what the text says, but what I just told you is historic fact.
It is fictional (as in, characters and storyline is fiction), but based on real events of mine digging german POWs.
