You over did it. First off, the boys are Canadian, and filmed in Canada. What made their film funny was that the stereotypes were actually true. And they filmed it in Canada.

Practically all of the incessant Canadian stereotyping you did was tiresome.

I understand you did it for your kid's generation, but that doesn't hit home either.

Luckily I stole this film and quickly erased it 5 minutes in. As a Canadian I can offer you the middle finger and remind you that Canadians really are not nice.

It is meant to be exaggerated to cartoonish levels. This wasn't ever inteded to be a true representation of Canadians in any way. Nobody actually watches this and thinks wow they nailed how Canadians actually are.

I don't see how much more obvious it could have been that it was deliberately intended to be totally obnoxious. Bob & Doug was all about playfully poking fun at the meathead contingent in their own fellow citizenry. This wasn't that at all. It wasn't "making fun of Canadians." It was "making fun of making of Canadians." So take off, eh, you fucking dumb ass canuk motherfucker.
