I was VERY surprised at the revelations about his mother

I'm not here to start a debate about abortion but...
I had read about Dolly Sinatra performing abortions but I never thought the kids would EVER reveal this in a doc about their father.
They explain it as though she was just providing a much needed service to the poor Hoboken Immigrant Italian community...no big deal.

Wow. That was more shocking to you than the official acknowledgment from the family that Frank made it possible for JFK to steal the election? I was flabbergasted. I NEVER thought that would happen in my lifetime. Before last night, it was still just a rumor, right? I know I've had more than one person look like I was crazy when I told them JFK may have never been President without Frank.

That news is so old it's moldy.

Historikitty2 - As I stated, the story had been out there. My point was, which you didn't seem to comprehend, surprise that the family owned up to it and in such a causal way.
Interestingly, all you ever seem to post are snarky replies to others original posts. Try going out on a limb some day - come up with your own original comment for others to reply to. SMH.

I was surprised they admitted it, but of course Frank is long gone. And by all accounts Dolly Sinatra ran a safe (for the day) operation and never charged for her services as an abortionist. Good for her.

It shocked me they never mentioned that Ava having an abortion destroyed Frank and was the final blow to the marriage.
