I just dont understand why..

Why does every character in Rob Zombies movies have to be such a piece of garbage?
I liked how he tried to show a little bit of Doom Heads personal life, I didnt think we'd get to see that side of his character. I assumed he would just be another mysterious killer that came from who knows where.
But of course, his personal life is just as dirty, violent and savage as his life as a killer.
And this is my problem. Every character is as dirty and foul as the next, villain or hero, they're all, just, gross.
I think an opportunity was missed when we were able to see Doom Heads personal life, and he wasn't a family man, or a librarian, or a hermit that lived in a pristine well organized home, then once he gets the call to go to the murder building, and he goes into the dressing room, then he changes over into Doom Head.
Its just a bit annoying that every character in his movies has one dimension.
By no means do i dislike dirt, or foul language, or violence, my problem is with how repetitive it is, like, every character is interchangeable.

Not really a question, just wanted to put some thoughts out there.

i understand it's more interesting to have characters with layers who aren't just 100% "good" and 100% "bad" but Zombie seems to just recycle the same vile/unlikable characters again and again. the first 30 minutes of 31, where we are getting to know the "protagonists" (i'm using that term very loosely here. lol), irritated me so much because every single protagonist was completely unlikable/vile/etc. i kind of sort of found Meg Foster's character to be somewhat ok/sympathetic but barely. Zombie just doesn't understand that when his protag characters are so detestable/unlikable, it makes it impossible to root for them (unless his goal was to have the audience rooting for the villains like Doom-Head).

in every one of his other films (maybe LORDS OF SALEM eased up on the unlikable main protag IMO) the protagonists are either completely unlikable, incredibly irritating or utter both. i don't even have a huge issue with the fact it's always trailer trashy characters in all of his film but at least Zombie could try to make them likable/sympathetic/etc.

Those are the people he surrounds himself with, and casts in every film. We're bound to get that smelly inbred feel every time. It was advantageous in 'House of 1000 Corpses'/'Devil's Rejects', but that's about it.

We've met before, haven't we?
