I Wanted it to be Good

I rented "The Visit" on Amazon Prime, because I wanted to support filmmakers who explored this topic. Unfortunately, this film, a quasi-documentary, is just dull. It's like they wanted to make it scientific and thought-provoking, buy ended up with a boring film. From their special effects, to the slow pacing, slow motion segments, dull personalities, and the interviews - my god, man! These so-called experts had NOTHING interesting to say - in fact, were these actors or real people? If actors, the script is terrible; if real scientists, then they have no idea about the universe, nor the ET reality, like they were living in the 50's. If I hear some dullard say "we don't even know if there is any other life in the universe.." Yes, we do know, and it's clear - there are a lot of intelligent beings in the universe (or more specifically, out galaxy), only none of them live here.

So this filmmaker Michael Masden, must be proud of his endeavor. The film photography is clear and clean, the editing smooth enough - it's capably constructed there. But there is no story. It's like he had an idea, and thought if he filmed some "experts" and other thought leaders on the topic, that something could be constructed out of it that would be entertaining. Well, Mr. Masden, you failed. And failed quite badly. What a slow-paced, unentertaining, un-thought=provoking movie. I couldn't sit through it. But I hope someone gets something out of it, or that you inspire someone for the future. In the meantime, you really should research ufology, because the evidence is there; we are being visited, observed, studied, tracked, and experimented on. You should have made your film about THAT.
