Hollywood is officially out of ideas and scraping the bottom of the barrel from reboots or remakes or whatever.

I’m afraid that statement is not accurate. It is not a lack of ideas that is the problem, it is that they are not willing to risk their money on original ideas. There are plenty of aspiring writers and film-makers with wonderful original works, but Hollywood is not interested because they are too afraid to lose any money. Instead, they reboot and remake old works with the (false) assumption that it will work again.

LOL This movie wasn't some sort of big hit to begin with. I remember it did a little business but the average movie fan probably doesn't even remember it. The remake made less than 40 grand not sure why you would green light this and not some movie with an original idea I just wonder what exec saw this treatment and thought this thing would make money.

Think of what JC stands for, as far as a certain religious figure.
Stick an F in the middle (as in the common FU).
