Mr Brooks Ripoff

***SPOILER ALERT***

The reappearing old woman was a poor rip-off of William Hurt's character in "Mr Brooks"
Also the talking GPS was very annoying. Both of these things were distracting & added nothing to the film...

You do realize this is a Stephen King story? He was probably talking to his characters in his head while he wrote it, just like Tess does.

Fighting a religious war is like fighting over whose imaginary friend is better.

reply

Well, maybe this film is a weak adaptation of King's book...

reply

~ The adaptation was bad and I prefer the short story anytime, compare to this book. I wonder what Stephen King thought about this heap.

King has had his fictional authors speak to their creations for ages. I doubt he copied anyone. If you read the story you'd see the reasoning for Tom.
