It is horrible. I couldn't tell if it is even based on true stories, it is just that bad. Reality shows used to at least appear to be real...they just gave that up and put out this kind of crap with fake stories and bad actors.

shareI was coming here to find out if it was real. These cases are possible, but rare. I have seen 2 episodes. One, the guy's girlfriend wasn't cheating, she was a man. The other, the woman's husband wasn't having an affair, he was a bigamist. These cases happen I'm sure, but 99% of the cases would be simple affairs nothing more. So if they were real, then they would have had to records cases over 5 years and then selectively choose the ones that are interesting.

I saw the first episode and couldn't stomach any more after that. But you are right, the odds of them having such farfetched cases are astronomical. It's 'reality' tv so you have to take it with a grain of salt and watch for comedic purposes. I didn't find anything comical so I was done lol.

Listen, I figure there are VERY STRANGE people out there.. and while NOT all of a private detective's cases could be ANY NEAR like this.. a certain % of one's cases COULD be STRANGE-depending one WHERE they work! So, maybe these 'cases' are ones from the HUNDREDS OR THOUSANDS of this private detective, OR, cases from MANY P.I.s??
Now... a LOT of people get mad, say "IT IS FAKE' because of 're-enactments'.. )
But, 1st of all, who has filmed all of the crap needed for a show? Next, the quality of what WAS filmed? Probably so so, not good enough for TV.
Next, even if the person was just a witness, OFTEN, this WITNESS does not want their FIRST or ONE TIME on T.V. to be a WITNESS for a major crime, or cheater.. because, if this 'witness' does not do much in life.. note worthy.. You will 'google their name.. and it will come up with this show.. AND SO OFTEN-SO many people do not read the ENTIRE paragraph, but, just the 1st sentence or so, or maybe, only the HEADLINE.. i.e.( Cry WOLFE..cheater who had 4 wives and mistresses ........ known to neighbors... JOE SMOE among those who........ Http//) And people get burned .. have been burned on google searches . But, most people do not want anything to do when the 'show is filmed'. I have also noticed when these 're-enactments ' are done, I do not think they EVEN APPROACH some of the people.. because the people in these R.E. are a lot better looking, slimmer, talk better... and a lot younger. (like tv producers say to each other 'no one will ever believe that anyone would sleep with that UGLY OLD FAT SLOB with only 3 teeth!)
